1PM HDH Narrative 2v2 Forward Much like any previous Narrative 2 v 2 events that have been held in our community, this one will follow similar list building and mission styles. This game mode is entirely intended to be about epic fights, last stands, and spectacle battles. All missions will be handcrafted and each map will be entirely different, different lists an armies will perform differently on each map and each mission that comes with it. It is a 2 game event, each 3 ½ hours long with a lunch period. The Event will be held at Linebreakers on November 15th, 2025 check in time is at 1PM start time 1:30 PM. Joining the Event and Prize support Just sign up with Wizard through discord. Entry Fee will be $10 either paid day of to Linebreakers or online through a link that will be posted a few days ahead of time. While you are NOT REQUIRED to paint, to be eligible for Prize support you must have at least 50% of your army painted (by models not by points) Prizes will be given out for this mission in the form of physical items out of the 40K Organized play kit, put up by Linebreakers as the prize support. https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/fuyhljgg/enter-the-latest-warhammer-40 000-organised-play-season/ Prizes are won not by just scoring the most points, although that is one of the achievements, but for individual achievements: Best General: Most Points scored through Primaries and Secondaries. You PTFO. Best Sportsmanship: This will be given based on vote from all the event competitors and will be done anonymously. Best Painted: This will also be put to vote, and everyone can throw in one model of their choice to be judged by each player. Slayer: This is given to the player with the most unit kills racked up across the event. Survivor: This is given to the player with the LEAST amount of unit deaths across the event. List Building Keeping this simple as I can and as balanced as I can get without impacting list building to much. First and foremost, it is highly recommended you build a balanced list, to take on any possible encounter and mission. Gimmic lists are still allowed of course, but be warned. 1. ONE Epic Hero may be brought per list, but they cannot Excced Toughness 7. (Things like Gazkuhl Thrakka, and Morven Vahl for example, would still be eligible for taking as they are T7). So no Primarchs or super sized models. It is my humble opinion they are not fun to play into at such point levels and aren’t really intended for this kind of gameplay. 2. You can bring any number of generic characters and they don’t have a toughness restriction. However, they cannot exceed 200 points. (Knights will be an exception to this rule, however you will be restricted to ONE Titanic model per 1000 point list). 3. You cannot double up on Epic Heroes if you and your teammate are the same faction. However you can each bring one DIFFERENT Epic Hero from the same faction. For example, you can bring Gazkhul Thrakka in one list, and Mozrog Skragbad in the other list. With these List building rules in mind, you should note that each map will be entirely different, each supporting a different playstyle. More on this below, but bringing an all Armored company may screw you over in a urban map. Or the inverse with a full Infiltrator light infantry list being doomed in an open map. BUILD YOUR LISTS WISELY. Missions Missions will be revealed at the day of the event, in the form of a pair of sheets of paper with all of the information for the Primary, and Secondary missions that are to be undertaken for that map. While the Primary is fixed for each map regardless, each player can choose 2 secondaries from the list for each of them to accomplish. This will be something like “Assasinate” or “Hold your ground”. The secondaries are intended to work hand in hand with primary mission and designed to compliment each player’s list and playstyle. With this in mind your flavored list should be able to perform how you intend it to work. Maps Each map will be entirely unique, with different terrain (and special rules for that Terrain!), Missions as mentioned above, Map unique Stratagems, and any other special rules. These will also be revealed to you the day of the event. As for what maps you be playing on, you will either be randomly assigned a map, or you will be manually placed by the event organizers in order to make a more interesting or more balanced matchup. In all I hope to see you on the tabletop. THIS DOCUMENT IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
