Princess Cadance became close to the young Twilight Sparkle as her foal-sitter, and now she is her sister-in-law. Known for her tales of overcoming hardships with the power of love, her costume is based on an imperial style dress reminiscent of the goddess of love, in an original design by series artist Shunya Yamashita.
The dress is made of clear plastic with gradation painting for a mystical impression, the gold accessories sparkle, and her bright, colorful hair is recreated with pearl paint. Her pony form, with a more mature silhouette than the Mane 6, can be displayed together or independently.
